The role of cesarean section in the formation of allergic diseases in children
Azerbaijan Journal of Perinatology and Pediatrics

Abstract

The article examines the influence of childbirth by caesarean section on the development of allergies in early-age children. Childbirth by surgery is 67.5 ± 2.9% of sensitivity, 41.9 ± 3.1% of specificity, and 54.9% ± 2.2% of the total diagnostic value in the formation of atopic dermatitis. These indicators prove the great importance of childbearing through surgery in predicting atopic dermatitis.
