Impact of Sars-Cov-2 ınfectıon on the development of the fetus and the health of the newborn

Abstract

In the clinical case presented by us, during pregnancy, a mother who had twice experienced Covid-19 had a child with Down syndrome and malformations of the brain in the form of corpus callosum hypoplasia, peripheral pulmonary stenosis. The child also had congenital pneumonia with subsequent generalization of the inflammatory process.
