Factors of perinatal risk of necrotic enterocolitis in newborns

Abstract

The aim of the work is to determine the significance of perinatal risk factors for the development of necrotic enterocolitis in newborns. We carried out retrospective analysis of the anamnesis of the 100 newborns with confirmation of the diagnosis ofNEC, who is undergoing inpatient treatment in the departments of anesthesiology, intensive care and intensive care, pathology of premature newborns and newborns, surgery of the Research Scientific Institute of Pediatrics. During the study, the generally accepted perinatal risk factors contributing to the development of NEC were evaluated. At this time, mothers of newborns were also involved in examinations. In particular, the following risk factors were taken into account: pregnancy in mothers, birth, premature birth, gestation age, organization of feeding, concomitant diseases, etc.
